Hey guys and gals,

I finally settled with my ins co on my '96, so I'm looking to replace it with a '98-'00 Z28 hard top 6 speed car (no more opti). I'd prefer a 1LE, but have expanded the search since I can't seem to find one. If anyone can give me a line on a car that fits the bill I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Jason, is an LS1 a must? A friend is selling a '96 Firebird hardtop, 6 speed. I don't know the price, but I don't think it's much.

Yeah, an LS1 is a must. I had SO many issues with the freeking opti that I just don't want another one. As much as I loved my '96, I've had enough of the LT1. Thanks for the input though.

PM Pimpmaro here. He's been making noises about selling his 2002 hardtop, 6 speed, manual locks, manual windows, etc. Not sure he will, but it's worth a shot.

I also still have the '01 NHRA edition TA that I plan to sell. I have not advertized it yet, except a post here a few weeks ago. It's not a hard top, so maybe it's not for you.

Thanks Kevin, I'll PM him.

The hardtop, M6 and LS1 are all required.....

He's been saying he wants a truck for a while now, and after being in mine, he's thinking about it again. So, it's worth checking into.

I would sell my green '98 Z28 hardtop M6, but would need more than you are probably looking to pay ($8G) for a car that needs a/c work.

Maybe, maybe not. I' dropped you a PM
