I have been auto xing the hell out of my SS and realize thats all I use it for. I decided that I want a racecar kind of look so I have been looking at graphics to spice up the car. Normally I like cars to be clean, but when I ran the National event at Atwater this year I kind of liked the way the car looked with all of the stickers on it. Here is a photoshop of what I am thinking about doing. Remember I only use the car at the track, I would never do this to a steet car.

Here is what my car looks like right now, except I have CCW's on the car. If any of you guys want to take a crack at it I am open to just about anything.

I like it....except for the big Bowtie where the SS emblem is/was.....
....and the ESP is WAY too big...

That was my initial reaction about the bowtie too. It probably needs something up in the front to help balance all the graphic on the back half, but not sure what exactly... Maybe just something about 1/3-1/2 that size would do it. Would be interesting to see the front half left alone and see what that looks like too.
Maybe bring the bottom of the red closer to the front tire to get the balance.
And maybe leave off the checkers on the bumper. Let them go to the sider marker and stop there.

Howdy,
I think it looks nice.
Make sure your numbers/class letters follow the rulebook though. There are restrictions on sizes / stroke width. Normally they only affect small numbers/class letters, but its sometimes easy to break the rules with really large numbers/letters as well.
Also... I'd highly recommend that you leave some room for an "10" in front of that #3. That way having a codriver won't end up screwing up your graphics.
And if you do any national autox events, there are required stickers for the front fender/door area, so you'll want to incorporate those into your scheme. Also think about any other required contingency sponsor stickers (tires in particular).
I like the scheme though!

I would ditch the checkered flag and play around with the red and grey stripes. Try making them longer and a little more level. Definately move the number and class backwards.

Maybe a curving hockey stick strip that merges with the rest of the graphics on the rear.

are you getting the impression that everyone is going to have an opinion and they are all going to be different yet?

I really like it!
I will reiterate everyone else concerns about the bowtie and numbers being too big, but other than that it looks great.

I think it looks great other then the bowtie.
ESP could be smaller and the number could be bigger, but I grew up on NASCAR so the bigger the number the better

I like the tail as-is, with the checkered flag extending all the way back. I hate the bowtie, but I agree that it needs something at the nose to blance all the rear graphics.

Either loose the bowtie or cut it to about 1/3 that size. Grab the front lower corner of the red stripe and front point of the checker and drag them forward so the red stripe starts at the back of the front wheelwell, and the front point of the checker is in the same relative location of the red stripe now.
Then, overlay the number and lettering over the stripes. As others have said, the 'ESP' needs to be a little smaller, and make room for additional numbers, like a '1' or '10' before the 3 on both sides.
Had an acquaintance who had a silver 'checker flag' on the back of his 84 SVO, quite like what you have designed. The only thing was it was done in vinyl, and originally put on the rear quarter panels to cover rock chips. Looked great, IMHO.

I actually thought of doing something like that.
