Eugenio, the Crazy flea plague Canuck, I should say.

Edit by trackbird:

It's "flea" as in the little bug, not "flee" as in "to run away". I figured I'd correct that so nobody though you had people running back to the US from Canada.....

don't you have a party to go to ? drink.gif beerchug.gif rotf.gif

I'm having a windows party. I've been trying to restore my main computer since last Thursday. I seem to have one bad hard drive (out of two new ones) and the other one has a cracked connector on it like it was dropped. The RAID card is flakey, or seems to be and it's going back. I think I'm about to buy a new motherboard, processor, memory and either exchange these drives or buy a SCSI and be done with it.

And did I mention that I hate windows? Their backup (files and settings transfer) files are not compatible between my different versions of XP???? WTF???? So, my files won't restore and I'm trying to restore an older XP disk I have, etc.

So, yup, my windows party is in full swing.

I'm about to buy a Mac to park next to my Linux machine......

edit (Eugenio): it's WTF, not WFT (are you learning french and putting words in opposite order ?) rotf.gif

I'm headed that way. I really am. What I thought was the good drive out of the two died last night. Nothing on my system can find it. It looks like the controller card died. So, I loaded my fifth load of windows on a the other drive.....

I'm going to have to split this to avoid a really serious hijack (too late).
