A friend of mine from Ore. was asking me about this same car. He's looking to get his comp license and found this in his search for a track car. If anyone does have any knowledge or history of the car, it'd be appreciated.

Comp license for what class?

Last time I saw it was at Autobahn Country Club in July last year. It was having a problem and I don't believe it it ran more then a couple laps. The car has definitely had a lot of money spent on it, but (my opinion) I think it still needs to be sorted.

I can't remember if it was fuel or spark, but I remember a post where they took it to the dyno after that weekend and it was fine on the dyno.

IIRC, he was asking almost twice that for the car last year.

Before that, Sidney (on this board) used to own it and run it in Midwestern Council AGS but that was with different motor, brakes, and suspension.

Hope I'm not stepping on any toes posting this info, but that's what I know about it.

Otherwise, I wish I had the money, I think the car has potential and it's priced to sell.

Thanx Keith. The guy that was asking me about it has a shop and has built several nice cars. LS1 powered first gen he did was great. Got to drive it year before last.

I'll pass on the ifo, if he's still considering it.

Julie - I think he was considering AI, but not 100% sure.

Just wondering as first you pick the series, then read up on the rules, then get the car. wink.gif

In the East and Midwest, NASA isn't the only game in town in town and isn't the largest game in town, either.

That doesn't affect my concern; it does not matter what series or sanctioning body, you should do the research first before committing to a car. This involves a whole spectrum of things besides the rules, it involves whether or not that series or car is a good choice for a newb., will they "fit in" once they pick a series, etc. After sorting this all out, then car shopping can commence! wink.gif
