To order the FRRAX decals, go to http://www.mtfba.org/frraxdecals.htm

You will have your choice of 1.5" x 6" or 2" x 8" sizes, and an order multiple decals.

Base cost of the decals is $5, I added $2.50 to that to cover a donation to the site and merchant fees Paypal will take from each sale (around $0.35).

$1 shipping is not included in that price, but is a flat rate since Rob should be able to ship more than one decal for minimal extra expense. What I'll do is cover 100% of Rob's postage and whatever is left will go to the site to move us to our own dedicated hosting account.

Thanks and happy ordering. Thanks to Brent Franker and Rob for putting this together.

For those that just want to make a small donation to the site and don't want a sticker, my paypal address is chris@mtfba.org

Let's also thank GaryK that worked a lot with Brent in designing the decal as well as i960.

So did they end up as silver only with no background (and a low tack layer for application)?
robz71lm7
Silver only no background. They'll probably be on a piece of masking tape that you press onto the surface and pull up to leave all the little pieces on the car-I have no idea what the proper term is for that.

I'm going to keep ordering open through Friday March 19, then I'll compile the orders and get the check out to Brent. We can do a second round of orders after that I suppose, but I don't want to hold people up from getting their stickers for weeks and weeks.
Chris 96 WS6
I have received orders for 30 stickers so far. Most are ordering 2, some more.

I recently got the royal screwing by paypal over the whole Prospeed nightmare. Can I send you a money order for the stickers instead of paypal?
Chris 96 WS6
Yeah, I will PM you my address.
mjf454
Thank you. Paypal is not happy that visa refunded my money.
Chris 96 WS6
OK folks, I'll be closing ordering at 4PM central time today.

I'm going to be waiting a few more days to let a couple of mailed orders come in, then I'll send the list of orders to Rob and money for the orders and quantity info to Brent Franker.

Just waiting on this mail-in order then I can send out the order quantity to Brent F.

Just an update from the old board.

The order was sent to Brent and he started making the decals on Friday, March 26th. They will then ship to me in Louisville, KY. The envelopes are all printed up and ready to be mailed out as soon as the decals arrive here. They will all be mailed in standard #10 envelopes via USPS.

I got an email from Brent yesterday. The decals should be at my place in the next day or two. Evidently he had difficulty with the tiny lettering on the 1.5x6 decals. All is well though.

Thanks for everyone's patience. I know it's taking a long time and I want the decals just as bad as the rest of you.

The decals have all shipped. Here's a copy of the email i sent everyone that ordered:

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to make everyone aware that I mailed all of the FRRAX decals Wednesday April 7th.  If you should have any problems (i.e.; damaged/wrong/not received decals) please email me.  I have 3 extra decals in both sizes should someone mess up.  Please be careful applying them.  It’s easy for the smaller decal to not get picked up by the masking tape backing.  Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol before you apply the decals.  Wetting the surface to help remove air bubbles is not necessary.  The decals are thin enough you won’t have any problems with air bubbles.

Thanks,

Rob Meadway

I got mine too. Thanks. Any tips on installation? I'm not quite sure how these are applied. Which side is sticky, etc.

Thanks. I got my stickers on Saturday. I put one on the back window of the truck and the Honda. I plan on putting one on each side of the trailer, along with a big white Chevy bowtie.

Be careful when pealing off th backing. Sometimes a letter wants to stick hear and there!

Clean the surface you're applying to with rubbing alcohol first. Next you'll peel back the masking tape layer carefully. Be careful to make sure that all the letters adhere to the masking tape when you pull it up. Lay the masking tape/decal on the surface and rub it down with your finger or a credit card. Next carefully peel up the masking tape backing and the decal pieces should be left on the surface you're applying to.
