Interesting... I can't delete the first post of a thread. I can edit it, but not delete it. Further posts I can delte, just not the first one in a thread.

You should be able to start one anywhere but the classifieds.

And, yes, I believe we set it so users can't delete their own threads. I forget what prompted it, but I think it had to do with classified ads that kept vanishing and not sticking around as a reference. Just PM a mod and we can delete things.
