I was flipping through the July issue of SportsCar last night and saw a classified add for a 92 Firehawk IMSA super car going for only $13,000. Wish I had the money for a piece of F-body and racing history. Garage it for a few years and take it vintage racing. :drive:

....its like I ALWAYS say....used race cars are CHEAP...the smart way to go for sure...

...now if you are a hard headed sort like myself...you keep building your own, and spending $2 for every $1 you could have buying the built one.... banghead.gif

aint that the truth. the hard part is coming up with the lump sum to buy the turn key racer. I may pay more for my car in the long run, but at least I still have something to drive as its being built faster.

Any links to that IMSA car?

I haven't seen anything about this car on the net, at least with the paint job that's in the classified.

I saw a post advertising this car on firehawk.org, last I checked the guy's e-mail addy was bad. The car is in Florida. I'm kinda glad, because I would be tempted to buy it if it was out West!
