Racers- Come join us for an exciting weekend of racing at the new Autobahn road course (www.autobahncountryclub.net)*outside of Chicago May 21/22. We will be running the same format as Nashville, two 30 minute sprint races punctuated by a 20 minute "intermission" in pit lane on the south course. We will be running the regular AV8 class and the unlimited class. At this time it looks like we will have 22-30 cars so there should be no shortage of competition. We will be paying a purse as follows:

1st--$900.00 + $150.00 Nitto Dollars*
2nd--$500.00 + $100.00 Nitto Dollars
3rd--$300.00 + $50.00 Nitto Dollars*
4th--$200.00
5th--$100.00
Unlimited

---Nitto tires will also*award two tires*as the Hard Charger Award.
---Cobalt Friction Brakes will give a free set of pads to the Late Brake Of The Race award winner.

365 miles from my front door (same distance as Summit Point). If I can get the schedule worked out (and Danielle will let me), I'm going to try to make this one (and I'm trying to round up help).
Marcin, if I make this one, I hope you're free to come as well!

Kevin, <official AOL voice> You've got beer!
I'm definitely going to check it out.
Come on over, Joliet is 30mins from my house, so if you need food and roof over yer head, consider this problem solved.
I could really use your take on my car, i think it's a strange mix of stiff/sloppy right now, and i got like a million other questions that cannot be explained over the net (mostly because i don't know the right terminology) so I could really use your expertise.

Cool, a "working vacation" (tax writeoff anyone?). If I make it, I'll gladly take a look at your car. You don't have HP tuners for a 2002 do you? (Damn, here I go with the hijack again).
I don't know how much crew Brion needs, but I may have a "job" for you at the event (if I make it). Worst case, you'll learn something, have some fun and meet me (and Garrett "pimpmaro" if I can get him to come along).

If the motor is done in the race car (not mine, the team I crew for) and my wife is ok with it, I am going to try to make it.

If I can keep this pesky school thing from interferring and if I can convince Jeg's that they REALLY don't need me that weekend (if they decide to give me the job that is) I'd LOVE to go! I've got family in Chicago so I can always find a place to stay if need be. =)

I'm interested in making a little drive to see this new road course. My family and I haven't been to Chicago in a couple of years either, so we could make a weekend out of it.

Dudes, come on over, I'd be honored to throw a BBQ with all the chicago pizza, beer, polish sausage and other Chicago specialties you want! Just say how many and when you wanna do it, and I'll accomodate everything. I'm only 30 mins from Joliet, so it should be a great ending to a good day at the track.

How about a "DOH!" I totally didn't realize that May 21/22 are the dates I was planning to go visit my gf in West Point. As much as I love beer, I do have my priorities. Oh well, there will be other races.
