ok guys, please no flames!!!!

I have a chance to pick up a 98 B4C 102k auto. What do you guys feel it is worth?

Good condition, no rips or tears, but it does have 102k, so not perfect.

My thoughts are for the perfect track car.( once the tranny is swaped!)

TIA your comments please

... maybe 5 - 7K, depending on overall condition.

Was it a Highway Patrol car or a city car?

Just remember it has had the Crap beat out of it and Idled for hrs. I would say 5-7000 grand. 7000 being MAXXXX!!!!! As a driver of a former police car, there some wear items that come into play. My car only was used for 14 months and 100,000 miles, so idle time is low. But had normal(for a cop car) suspension wear, tune up, rear end(axle bearing) and brakes. Now this car has sat around idleing for hrs and hrs. You might have problems down the road. You might be better off trying to find a car that didnt see that type of work. But it depends what price they are talking. I would say anything under 5,000 I would get it. But from seeing what 99 police spec tahoes go for with 180,000+ 5,000 isnt unusal. So I expect the price of the car to be around there. John

My other post was being typed while you guys posted. After reading that it was a FHP car, they can use those car all yr round. If its a 98 Lots of idleing time :leaving:. But do a carfax and see when it was put into service. My car sat for a yr before bieng used. These might be the same way.If it was around a while before being used. It might make it more attractice to you. FYI. John
