I've decided I'm not going to put together a spare SBC, so I don't need a spare oil pan.

I've broken a lot of things over the years, but never due to an oiling problem with this pan. Brand new in box.

SOLD Canton 15-244T pan

--------------------------------------

I also have a Canton LT1 pan

Canton 15-242T pan: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CTR-15-242T/

This pan is used but doesn't have any cracks or holes.

Price is $150 shipped.

Not really something I should buy right now.... But the second one is mighty tempting

I aways wondered the fitment between these pans. I'll be swapping a lt1 into my third Gen. How do these pans compare in that regard?

$327 shipped is the price through Summit, how about $300 shipped.

Thanks,

Both are listed as 6qt pans on Canton's site. I run 7qts in the 244T for road racing.

At the oil pan flange, the 1pc RMS SBC and LT1 are the same as far as I know. If you plan on using a Y-pipe that crosses under the oil pan, you'll need the 244T pan.

That link that you gave Summit says it is a 5 quart.

Canton's website says 6qt for the 15-244M, no listing for the 244T: https://www.cantonracingproducts.com/produc...AN-RH-DIPSTICK/

The Amazon listing says 7qt: http://www.amazon.com/Canton-Racing-Produc...eywords=15-244t

7qts is perfect for the hatch marks on a factory dipstick.
