Uh...I close on a house Monday. I've already got the epoxy paint to paint the garage Monday night.
I guess your answer is "yes".

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this. Many of my "friends" make fun of me about how I am about my floor. I can't stand to work on a dirty greasey floor ...
This damn dexcool crap is corrosive to Thompson's water seal ...

Yes that's anal but I suspect you're in good company with many of your F-body brethren including myself.

I'd give anything to see my garage floor right now! We have most of our house contents in there with the moving date coming up soon. When that time rolls around the CMC car will get to live in a nice barn along with some one horsepowers!

If I had a shop floor, I freakin' would. I dust and vacuum my studio, eventhough we have a cleaning lady to do it. Nothing like a clean, organized workspace.

I once let a drop of brake fluid hit the floor... when he wasn't looking.

He is definitely anal about the shop floor. Once I spilled brake fluid on my car's paint, but Mitch didn't notice that cause he was so busy getting it cleaned up off the floor.
I am just jealous my shop isn't that nice though.

Randy - my other 1/2 and I have been dreaming about that country house with the outbuildings for all your cars and tools.... finally found what we were looking for 12 miles northwest from our present house in Davis, CA. We'll be three miles west of Woodland (next major town) and a bit closer to Thunderhill! Going to the bay area will be easy too as we can hop on I 505 which is about two miles away.
Sometime down the road we'll put in a lift and then I will have really died and gone to racin' heaven! The barn is 1600 sq ft, has three horse paddocks, a bath and sink area and a tile roof to beat all!

I try and sweep my garage as often as I can. Will leave the mopping for when I have the workshop in my barn.

Mitch does have a nice shop. I think I have wiped most of my spills up, and left a couple stripes in the driveway
The most I have ever done at home is swept.

I keep my work area clean. Some aluminum shavings don't bother me, but grease and grime are out. I use mop soap that I got from work, it's color changing yellow green acid stuff. Works like a charm.

I think "Zep" is the manufacturer.

I used Zep once. Home Depot carries it.
I guess I used a too strong of a mixture because it sudsed up like a bad, 60s Jane Fonda movie ...

Different stuff. You could put this stuff in a blender and it wouldn't make suds. It doesn't make the water slick either, just turns it yellow then green as the acid reacts with stuff.
