If memory serves, it was about 5 years ago this week (+/- a week) that frrax was created.
Earlier this week, I was thinking about all of the tech threads and trustworthy classifieds that I have participated in on this site and was thinking about just how good this site is.
I didn't want this "birthday" to pass without saying thanks to the moderators, sponsors and other members for making this the best site that I use.
Happy Birthday and Happy New Year, fellow frrax-ers.

I second that. This is one of only 2 forums that I regularly check (the other is a local autoxforum). Good adivce, good tech, and good fun.
Thanks!

Your memory is a lot better than mine.
I just remember wholesale thread editing by Elmer, losing a mountain of great tech. I guess we owe to him for this great site.
An additional props to Kevin for his work and effort. The boy has been through the wringer over the last couple years. Thank goodness FRRAX has survived.

Thanks everyone!
It's survived due to you guys more than myself. I pay the bills and keep the lights on, after that, it's out of my hands. And we have to thank Chris for building it from the original idea and concept. I really have had the easy job around here.
The birth of the site is pretty much this thread (and you can see the time and date of the posts):

I've had a great time here, thank you to everyone and my "boss" Kevin and the other mods. It is a very useful place to hang out, I tell everyone with an f-bod (who wants to do more than look at it) to sign on!

I'll have to look into fixing that. After one of the upgrades, they never got put back on the site. Guess I should see if we can bring that back, those were pretty cool.

Happy B-day frrax.
My wife hates this site since I'm on it so much.
Good tech, good behavior, tolerable amount of dumbasses

edit to add: No Mustangs either.
A good message board is a fun part of owning the car. Had this site not been around I might have something else. TGO / camaroZ28 etc doesn't cut it.

Happy birthday, frrax! Saved me a ton of money since I bought my car in 2000 but didn't discover this forum until 3years ago.

This site was like a gift from above when it came time to start doing the mods to my car that really made a difference in the racing department. Although some or all of the info is available elsewhere, it is not as readily understandable or accessible.
You guys made a huge difference for me and many others. Thanks and Happy Birthday! I know of no other forum with the breadth of application knowledge on the Fbody, and the willingness to share it without hesitation.

Ditto what everyone else has said.
Daily hangout and I've learned a ton here.
What else makes this site and people special? Witness "where is bobbylee" thread. Where else will you find the quality of tech and even greater quality of people who show concern for their fellow members than here?
