LOL! I didnt even think of it like that!
We hit pretty much everything minus the lame "kiddy rides" as my son put it. Pirates at least 5 times, Thunder Mountain 3 times, Haunted Mansioin 2 times, etc etc etc. At 6yo he's ready for the "big boy" rides. However we ran into a snag. He is short for his age by about a 1/4 inch. He REALLY wanted to do "Indiana Jones" and I tried to sneak him past the ride "gestapo". Not happening.....they nailed us. SOOOOOOOOO, in my infanite wisdom I went back to the hotel, grabbed a pair of his ankle socks, rolled them up real tight and stuffed them under the faom padding in the shoe to give him about a "1 lift. Went back after the gestapo shift change and he cleared all 3 check points to get into the ride. For indiana jones there are 3 points with a nazi at each one to yank kids out of line and check height. After the ride he was so excited he wanted to call his mother (ex wife) and tell her about it. Well, he let the cat out of the bag on the sock trick. So after he was done she wanted to talk to me and proceeded to chew my ass about "safety, and those rules are there for a reason...blah blah blah". I told her STFU because she would have done the same thing if she was there. I tried macking on cinderella and she would have none of that action. Met the same kind of resistance from Belle and Snow White. However, Ariel was a little "handsy" but you didnt hear me complain! After a projectile vomitting experience as a youth, I don't go anywhere near the Tea cups. I did put the little guy on the "Hollywood Tower Hotel" ride at Calif. adventure and he LOVED it. That is one hell of a ride. I thought it would have scared him to death. But after the ride he wanted to get back in line. I have a ton of pictures and will post some up once I get my CD drive fixed. |

If you think that's funny, you should see me drive!
And just a friendly reminder as long as I'm not doing anything else useful, this GP is ending soon! |
