I have an 01 firebird. Last time to the track for some HPDE, the steering columm/wheel started to move a bit when I would turn the wheel hard into a corner. It is moving at the area of where the tilt section of the columm. Is this a common problem? More inportantly, is there an easy fix? Bushings, etc.

If memory serves me right, It pulls down and to the right a bit to the point where it affects your concentration a little in the turns. I don't think anything is going to break, but I would like to fix it to feel a little more confident.
Thanks in advance,
Ed

I have a 94 firebird. Looking to buy a fiberglass hood. Would like to find a good used one at a fair price. If I cannot find one. I may be forced to buy new. If that be the case, does anyone have recommentions as to who the decent quailty makers are and as important, are a reasonable price.
Open to a pin on or bolt on style.
thanks for any help,
ed

New prices: 100.00 off all the prices below.
To be up front, I am not a tire expert. These were tires that were delivered with a newly built SCCA A/S car two years ago.
The tires have been garage kept. So please email for the up close pictures and I will answer any questions you might have.

1. 4 - 5 hole Pontiac 16X8 wheels with Hoosier 225/50/ZR16. Only a few track sessions on them. Min groove depth
is .120. Wear is even. Overall good condition. 380.00 plus shipping 280.00

2. 4 - 5 spoke 16X8 wheels. Factory style. Painted gloss white to accent the car paint sceme. These are basicly new.
Not sure what make. The tires are Hoosier 225/50/ZR. These were the tires on the car when delivered.
They appear to be shaved with no use. 500.00 plus shipping 400.00

This set came off a friends car a few years back and stored inside.
3. 4 - 84-87 16X8.5 Corvette wheels (Chrome with black inners) with Hankook Ventus C-50 255/50/zr16
min groove depth is .140. They seem to have very little use and are in good over all condition. 340.00 plus shipping
240.00
For pictures, please email me. (ewick@nbfd.net) I took one of each tire and rim so no surprises.
Phone is 714-962-4849 Orange County Calif. I think the prices are fair. But honestly, if someone knows differently , please let me know.
