Guys,
Who has weighed their 18x10 wheels before mounting and what did you find? I'm looking for a good set of 18x10 that I don't have to run spacers with (so the C5 stuff won't work for me). I found a set that I like but they weight 30.2 pounds each and that's AWFUL painful to me, several other wheels from Summit Racing were in the 28-29 pound range, so perhaps I'm just a spoiled brat, but I would really like to fit a 24-26 pound wheel under there.

i saw the post quoting wheelweights.net but that website appears to be down now..

Dear FRRAX Friends,

I am in the process of a complete suspension overhaul and I'm spending a bunch of money on a bunch of changes. (Santa is being VERY good to me this year). As usual, i'll be buying a new set of rubber when I'm done with all these changes and getting a good alignment before I head to Dixie in the spring.

It seems that the number of tire options just continues to grow and grow every year. The Goodyear RS seems to be an option along with the standard Kumho and Hoosier A6 (which I ran last year). I thought I would get some advice from all you guru here before I plop down cash on the 2012 tire.

I am running CP this year, so I could go with a pure slick. I heard from my friend in CP is running a 23.5x11.5 16 inch hoosier slick, i don't know if they will fit without modifying fenders on my third gen. Does anybody have an old scrub i can buy for fittment tests?

Also I've heard availability of the GoodYear RS is limited, i don't know what sizes or where to buy them.

Hankook has an R-comp tire now? Has anybody run them?

Avon seems to be having some success, anybody know anything about this tire?

Thanks in advance for your advice and if some of you are too secretive to post here, i UNDERSTAND, i would accept a PM and promise not to share any information with anybody. I have a bunch of Ford Guys here in CP in the Southeast that I need to compete with (no, NOT Robert Lewis, i know I can't compete with him). Gotta get my chevy out front (or in second behind sledgehammer) where it belongs. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Does anybody have measurements or a source for a Nascar Style Swaybar? Something like this one?

(IMG:http://photos.motoiq.com/MotoIQ/Project-Cars/Project-Spec-V-part-2/1-Speedway-Engineering-sway/741969875_JAytC-L.jpg)

I have a 35MM stock front swaybar and I am tuning on my suspension with a suspension guru and he told me that i needed to find a nascar style swaybar that's adjustable so that we can use that will handle heavy loads (2000 lbs load) for example.

I am running CP in Solo, so this would be legal. For you RoadRace guys, would a nascar bar be illegal? Please advise me if you know measurements and if I could use stock mounting brackets or need to fabricate new ones.

let me know your collective knowledge, thanks guys.

Dear Friends,

I will be needing a temporary shelter for a couple cars and I've been looking around at these ez shelters that are sold at places like pep boys, wal mart, sams and so on. I wonder if any of you have any experience with anything like this.

So does anybody have any thoughts or could let me know what has worked for you? This one is from SAMS wholesale.

guys,
I finally picked up my 87 IROC from the paintshop on friday at 1pm and spent the next 20 hours putting her back together to go to an autocross on Saturday morning at turner field. I managed to beat some subarus as well, so it was a good day. The color is 2007 Corvette Atomic Orange Metallic with flat black accents (matte). It is also the color chosen for the 2007 Indy 500 pacecar and rumored to be a color for the 2009 camaro.

Hope you like it as much as I do! As far as what's next. I have a set of headers and camber plates to go on her and then it's test and tune until Topeka. hope to meet many of you there as it will be my first time..
