I'm looking at a 1993 Corvette 6 speed. It's a two owner car, the second owner being an old friend of mine. He passed away in January of 2015, and his sister has decided to sell it. It's black on black with a leather interior, and only 17,000 miles. I can get it pretty cheap, but wondered if there were any well know trouble spots with that year. Not planning to autocross it, just a street ride.

My wife is currently driving an '06 Sonata. It has been a great car. We bought it new maintained it well, has almost 160,000 miles on it and still runs great. I just started thinking about a new car for her. I've considered another Hyundai, but like the looks of the Chevy Impala, and Equinox. Anyone have any experience with either of them? She's on the road without me from time to time going to see the grandkids, and I've begun to worry about the Hyundai on the road so much.

As what has been the most difficult year of my life comes to a close, I want to get back into autocrossing, (something I've done since 1975), next year. My car will need some love, but the first thing that needs help is me. Some of my friends go to a local indoor kart track once a week. I've been a couple of times, and have improved my times, but will that translate into usable autocross skills? My friends compete in open wheel cars, so I can see how this helps them, but a Camaro takes a different line than an A/M car. Your thoughts, please.

I posted my annual question in the towing section this year. Take a look as that topic hasn't had much traffic lately. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Been a while since I posted here, although I still check in from time to time. Recently, I noticed that some of the instrument lights on my '02 Z-28 didn't work. The high beam indicator light was out as well, (explaining why all those folks flashed their high beams at me). It looks like the instrument cluster has to be removed from the dash, and the bulbs replaced from the back of the cluster once out. Have any of you guys made this repair? My local Chevy dealer didn't even have a part number for the bulbs. Any ideas? Thanks for any advice.
