I think diesel (non-commercial) is going to go away before gas vehicles do, at least in the U.S. Everything is so "clamp-down" on diesel that they can't keep all those add-ons working long enough. I'm seeing rumors of GM coming out with an 8.3 liter Duramax in 2026 or 2027. I don't think diesel is going away. We still need it for heavy trucks and equipment. But I'm torn on what the EPA will ultimately force the manufacturers to do next. |

That's what I meant by non-commercial going away. It might still allow 3500 and up to be diesel. Or 4500 and up.
