I'm parting out my ST2 Camaro. First for sale are the unbalanced engineering Bilstein weld-in shocks and springs, front and rear.

I have a gently used defnder neck brace for sale. I bought it in 2010 but used it once or twice until mid 2014 when I started racing.
http://www.defnderneckbrace.com The brace was recently recertified in Feb of 2016 with replacement of the pads, straps and tethers, and new sfi sticker dated Feb 16. Includes helmet hardware (threads into sa2015), 2 super awesome defnder stickers, padded case, and 2 wrenches. I've never used another brace but I found this one comfortable and secure. I don't remember if it was a "one size fits all". I am 5'9" and have weighed between 220 and 190 (depending on what I'm training for) with a 17" neck. I'm selling because after 10 years, I burnt out on thrashing to try to beat corvettes in st2 with a camaro. (Another looooong story) . I put the racecar in storage in march and started racing in triathlons. I used these with Hawk DTC 70 pads with a manual brake setup with a 3/4 master cylinder. These are on my time trial camaro built to AI rules. I don't like to compare to other cars braking ability (driver skill/balls comes into play here) but I could brake with most everything I was on track with. Included is the full brake kit with ST-40 calipers, new racing brake rotors 2 weekends old (almost no wear), hats, radial mounting brackets and a spare set of rotor rings. The spare set are the originals I changed out slightly early because a couple of the heat checks were getting a bit deep but do not appear to have gone through the rotor surface and have not propagated to the edges. The entire brake setup is in great condition functionally and good condition cosmetically. I rate these good only because they have been used so there's the normal buildup around the bleeder valves, brake dust in the hard to reach areas and possible tire booger streaks. The banjo fittings come with the calipers but the lines do not. A set of DTC 70 pads also comes in the calipers with approx an 1/8" of material left. $1200 plus shipping

I decided, after watching some in-car video and seeing a bunch of flex between the a-pillar and a-pillar downtube, that it was time to put a cage in the car that was "proper" and would be something I wouldn't rip out again. This being the 3rd rebuild of it, I had some serious learning points from the first two times and wanted to implement ALOT of changes. With that being said, my goals were:
1. Enhance safety 2. Enhance torsional and longitudinal stiffness 3. Build the car in a way which would fit rule sets to keep my idea of a "play toy" 4. Attempt to build a tube frame within the factory sheet metal without doing a full conversion. With that in mind, I'd always liked the idea of creating a truss structure since it seemed to offer the solutions to #'s 1 & 2, and seemed to more closely mimick a full tube framed car. I figured if I could get the design and stiffness out of the tube structure, I could get rid of alot of the factory sheet metal and get the cars weight down. I had played around with many different designs (modeled on FEA software) and found one which I really liked but ran into problems with packaging. The solution came from some pictures I found of some of Alans work. He built a cage in a Black camaro which was just what I was looking for. Many thanks to Alan, his great work, and willingness to post pictures and help everyone out as he was a huge help in this build.
