So in looking at replacement trucks for my '98 rcsb ... I do get a little excited about the SS Silverado's

Specifically 6.0 liters, and AWD (winter "capable" needed here in UT)

Has anyone owned one or have any experiences ?

I heard they don't get to good of mileage, but that's not too huge of a concern, as I don't put too many miles on my truck.

Any input appreciated (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

So I just returned from the Sandhills Open road challenge in Nebraska ...

The roads in Nebraska, including the two race courses, are NOT quite as nice as in Utah.

The rod end clunks / pops / bangs on my rear suspension has now become unbearable, and I would like to "fix" it / shut it up before the SCCC next month

Currently the car has

Alumunim LCA's with rod ends both sides
Aluminum PHR with rod ends both sides

I've always just went full rod end, (same setup on my 3rd gen also), BECAUSE RACECAR ! , But I'm getting older :)

OPINIONS PLEASE ! : (cost IS somewhat of a factor, too many projects!)

1. Replace all the rod ends with new FK's (anyone have part #'s ?)

2. Replace chassis side with Poly ends http://umiperformance.com/catalog/index.ph...products_id=262

3. Go to arms with some sort of "joint" / "ball" / "rotator"

4. Poly ended LCAs

Looking for some used, but not quite used up base C5/C6 caliper pads ...

Have the brakes installed on my '78 Z28 project, but no pads = no brake bleeding / etc.

Let me know, THANKS ~DaVe

So somehow I ended up with a (6) pack, and I need (8) for a complete set.

Anyone have a couple kicking around for cheap ? ... Poly, red or black

Looking for a set of FRONT Eibach PRO-KIT springs for a 3rd gen ...

I already have a set of rears (LT1 set, BUT I think the rears are the same 82-02?)

I'm in Logan, UT 84341, so shipping may be an issue (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

THANKS !
