Bought as a running car a few years ago to build into a road racer. Hosed the engine off and now it doesn't run. 185k , hail damage, cracked windshield, boogered up drivers door, interior is junk.
email me at Bltexas at aol.com for pics.

If I hadn't just bought a welder, this car would be sitting in my shop.

Well how about letting it sit there for awhile until someone wants or needs it to build a race car?

For anyone running high speed tracks (my experience is with Cal Speedway) that transmission is worth the $1500 given its more useful 5th gear and even ratios.

The car was sold, if for that reason alone.

I paid $1900 for a new '93 trans from GM, but it had a built-in 4th gear crunch too so...

Doesn't matter I'm usually only using the 1st 2 gears anyway.

But yeah that car is a good starter kit it sounds.
