TOW HITCH??? I'd remove that. I once drove 200 miles with cash in hand to buy a clean, origional owner 2001 SS. Saw a tow hitch on it, drove right back home. True story.

The Hitch is needed to tow your race tires to an event. Kooks used the hitch was a fastening point for the rear exh hangers. So it stays, and if that was the only reason to walk away from a car then you were the one that lost out.
As for the springs the 2 sets that I think are 1LE 's have no tags, the ones that are assembled they are the SS springs that are the same, but have a different # denoting they were part of the SS package, This post has been edited by bills: Apr 4 2012, 03:37 PM |

I didnt intend to infer either of our opinions of the hitch is correct....but im sure im not the only one who shares my opinion. Good luck with your sale. The car is very nice, and priced fair. |

Thanks Bill. This is for a resto project so I'd like to hold out for springs with the tags.
