I should have posted this before.

There is an entry deadline the end of the month.

I did this last year when it was 7 days and broke after 5 days, but we had a great time.

Our dollar is really low right now so the entry would be cheap, as would any accommodations. For every USD, you get $1.42 CDN as of today.

It is 5 days of racing. You can drive or trailer your car. They include breakfast and lunch. If you want to camp it is included too.

There are 3 tracks, 6 layouts, 7 Time Attacks, 4 Autocrosses, 1 Drag Event and something they show as SP. We did do a standing 1/2 mile last year, but we are not at that track, so I am not sure on that event.

I would think New York, Vermont, Ohio and Pennsylvania would not be bad travel wise.

The Tracks, 2 are just amazing and you spend 4 days, they look National Parks, but with bad ass tracks and facilities. 3rd Facility is not as hot, but was fun. It is old, but long and challenging.

Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. Nascar Truck Events and IMSA Events, are held here. Panoz owns it with Ron Fellows. With my HP we saw over 165 mph up the back straight. http://canadiantiremotorsportpark.com/#section-home

Calabogie Motorsports Park. I loved this place, but was also intimidated. Big track has 20 turns and is 5.0 KMs. http://www.calabogiemotorsports.com/

I have been pestering Eugenio to bring the monster, but it looks like he will not make it.

Last year it was a 1500km route, this year just 500kms. This year allows teams of 1 or 2, last year you had to have 2 - 4.

Here is the link to the event. http://ontario1500.ca/index.php

It does require a tire rating of 140 or higher TW. Other wise run what you brung. Race cars with the appropriate tire is ok.

If you have any questions, let me know or I can put you in touch with the right people.

Pics from last year.

A heads up if anyone is looking for an upgraded diff. Would like to sell as a package, but will consider selling TAs and Watts separately.

Moser 12 bolt:
-Eaton HD with Toms Differentials upgraded spiders supposed to be stronger than the usual upgraded spider. I only broke the originals, these have been in the diff since 2005.
-33 spline axles New in 2008
-ARP studs 12mm
-HD Aluminum Girdle cover with preload studs
-3:73 gears Gears, fresh bearing and seals 2010. 3-4kms tops.
-set up for four channel ABS
-1350 pinion yoke
-Includes the backing plates for the rear brakes.$400
-weld in relocation brackets $100
-Spohn sway bar installation kit $75

New price for above is $3339 + shipping and taxes.

1 Full Throttle Welding long Torque Arm. Chrome Moly with Rod ends and Urethane bushings, comes with a cross member for a 6spd. A really nice piece. New price $550 approximately

1 Spohn Short Tunnel mount Torque arm with DS loop. New $415

1 Fayes Watts Link modified to fit (shims and machined pivot hat, drilled out axle clamp for vent) with a 12 bolt with the HD cover. $650

Totals for $5008 if bought new not including taxes or shipping.

$2800 takes the whole kit including the backing plates, if you want to use your backing plates, I will knock off $200. It will be a lot easier to make it a bolt in though and you could sell you backing plates for at least $200, they are $400 new.

I will have to get pics of the long and short TAs.

Let me know if you are interested. My new one will be a couple months. BTW it is a Midwest Chassis 9" with a Watts link.

Might be willing to discuss the driveshaft too, it is a steel one with 1350 Spicer yokes and upgraded HD U joints.

I am in Canada, but only about 35 minutes from Niagara Falls New York. Meeting Windor Ont is also a possibility.
