Copied this from my post on thirdgen. Let me know if anyone here needs anything....
For sale is the LB9/5spd combo out of my ’91 Trans Am. I took the car on vacation to Gatlinburg TN 2 weeks ago and during a storm a tree fell over and smashed the car. With my dabbling in road racing my IROC, and with a baby on the way, I don’t have the time to fix it, or swap the drivetrain into another car, so I bought a beautiful ’89 GTA for my daily and I’m parting my ’91 TA out. The engine is a stock LB9 with F-body LT1 cam. It was rebuilt 40k miles ago, 90% highway miles from my commuting to work. It has received valvoline oil changes religiously every 3k miles. I used a Federal Mogul rebuild kit to freshen the engine. It is still standard bore, rod, and main diameters as well. With my custom tune it got 22-24mpg in mixed driving and got 26-27mpg on the highway and does require premium fuel (which I could change if needed) . the engine also has brand new injectors, coolant temp sensor, map sensor and O2 sensor. The trans was rebuilt with new synchros and bearings 20k miles ago, again highway miles. The clutch has 40k on it from when the engine was rebuilt. I run redline synthetic fluid and the trans operates perfectly. I want to stress this is a COMPLETE combo ideal for you RS and Firebird guys out there. The engine, Speed Density wire harness, ECM with my custom tune, trans, clutch, custom Y-pipe and 3” cat all are included in the package. The T5 is out of a late 80s S-10 with the 3.76 1st gear, this combo ROCKED with my 2.73 geared TA. It would really get up and go off the line, then it would idle down and only sip the fuel on the highway in 5th gear. The car also has an aluminum driveshaft and a posi drum 2.73 rear that I’ll be selling as well. The posi works pretty well unless you really turn hard and unload the inside tire. Car and rear axle have 145k miles. I’m open to any questions you guys have. I have purposely left the engine and trans in the car and operable, so those of you guys that are local can come drive the car and see how well it runs for yourself. I’d like to get $1200 bux out of the engine, trans, clutch, harness, ECM, sensors, custom tune, y-pipe and cat. I think that’s a really fair price for the time, money, and work I have invested. This was an AWESOME combo for a daily driver with some power. I’m also open to offers because frankly, I do need to get rid of this stuff so I have room in my garage again. I’m also parting the rest of the car out for those interested. The car has good stuff listed below. AL driveshaft with new U-joints. $100OBO Good door panels with good 91-92 cup holders.$20ea Rebuilt headlight motors $75 each for the complete assemblies. Front and rear bumper covers $50 each 91-92 tail lights with NO DELAMINATION. One mount post is broken off the back from the tree pushing the quarter panel down, but that could be re-attached easily. There are NO external scratches or damage. If people are interested I'll post pictures. $150 OBO Dash pad (no cracks, perfect condition!) $100 Dash and gages $25 for the whole gage assembly Door and body ground effects $20 per side Intact fog and turn signal lights, work properly $75OBO for the pair. All seats are in good condition but have wear spots and small tears and should be recovered to be perfect. Front pair for $50, rear seat back and cushions $40 Gray interior plastics from the rear seats forward are OK still All other miscellaneous items that I’ve forgotten, just ask. I'll get more pix up on request.

For sale is a Garrett TV8101 turbocharger. This unit was remanufactured by Reliabilt and has never been run or even bolted on anything since. I've had this turbo for years and am not going to get around to using it. This was originally used on the 8V92 Detroit Diesel engine, however it is also a popular turbocharger for extremely high horsepower (1000+) gasoline engines as well. This turbo features a turbine A/R of 1.39 and a compressor A/R of .95. Reliabilt remanufactured units like this typically sell for over $875 with a $500 core charge. Thanks for looking and don't hesitate to ask any questions about the unit.
I'm looking to get $500 OBO for the turbo.
