Hey guys, it's getting to be that time when we all plan vacations (if it's not already done). Don't forget to leave time to attend NFME 2008. What's better than a few days racing, driving and hanging out with friends?

So, who's in?

I'm planning to try. Just working out some personal issues, if all goes well, I'm in. I own a truck and a car and I can dig up a trailer.

Many of you guys (and ladies) missed Nashville. Andy, Garrett and I had a blast and we met Bock, little Bock and Dusty and Mitzi. I think Chris had a blast too, but his weekend got really expensive when that timing chain broke. Make plans to attend this one, don't miss us again.

I just placed a winter mod list onto the top of the intake manifold that describes all the things I need to handle before May, so that I can drive down to Memphis for the event. It's a shorter list than last year! (Hooray!) Stuff like new harnesses, some rewiring duties, some de-rattling, and new tires, if I can afford them.

So yeah, AFAIK, I'm in!

Kevin, I need to connect for a caravan since I most likely will NOT have a trailer.

That's no sweat. As long as I manage to get things sorted and make the trip, you're welcome to cruise down with me/us. If I'm towing an enclosed, I don't tow real fast in the name of fuel mileage. If it's an open trailer, I'll move a bit more quickly. So, if the pace doesn't frustrate you, we'll work it out.

If we can come up with a 2 car open trailer (non 5th wheel), you could drive to Ohio and we'll tow them both. I'll see if I know anyone with one I could borrow.

You know you wanna do it. Besides, you can see the teal terror in operation (assuming I get things sorted and make the trip). How often does that happen???? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

I haven't seen that info Dusty, but I'll wait for Bock to address that before I panic. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

What car are you going to bring with you?

Well, we are certainly planning a Road Course event... the event is not until May Repaving would be a welcome improvement in some areas at MMP.

I'm about ~4-1/2 hours away from this deal and I think I am going to try to make it out. Havn't been to one yet, sounds like it'd be a blast. I doubt I'd do any track stuff this time, but I'd definitely like to check things out and see some cars in action.

About 725 miles for me and I'm trying to make it. I really want to bring two cars (one for ax, the other for rr) but my trailer only fits one. I might can borrow a two-car but it'd probably be an open trailer and leaving the rr car out is not an option. Argh.

The only hitch in the getalong is the Rolex race at Laguna. I may be there and it is the same weekend. Hopefully I can get out of it for this event!

Update.

Turns out the paving rumor is true.

Track manager tells me drag strip and road course are both receiving improvements..which is good.

Excellent!

Did you register yet? Its important. No check in the mail games this year (not pointing at you Kevin, just general info).

We either have enough registrants to go, or we call it off on March 14.

Looking forward to seeing you...Andris needs instructors as well
