All parts are used with between 10K-25K miles of street use and some minor weekend play. All parts are (functionally) like new condition with no damage (other than minor scrapes of powder coat or other cosmetic). NONE have any damage or issue and are being sold only because I am doing an entire redesign of the car (ground up). In short, I don't need the stuff and it's better going to someone else than sitting around my house. Please, with that said, understand that I am already knocking at least 1/2 if not 2/3 of the cost off basicly new parts.
1 pair - BMR LCAs, spherical rod ends on both ends ( http://www.lmperformance.com/510/1.html ) $100 Sold 1 pair - LG Motorsports adjustable Lower A-arms w/ spherical rod ends ( http://www.lmperformance.com/825/1.html ) $300 Sold 1 pair - BMR adjustable Upper A-arms w/ spherical rod ends ( http://www.lmperformance.com/804/1.html ) $150 Sold 1 - BMR tubular K-member w/o motor mounts (mounts were cut off when motor plates were installed ( http://www.lmperformance.com/3132/1.html ) $100 1 - Spohn adjustable torque arm modified to mount on a custom fabed tranny cross member, T56 ONLY, ( looks much like this only retains the stock IC location through mounting on the tranny cross member... http://www.lmperformance.com/15598/1.html ) $100 1 set - LG Motorsports G2 Coilover/Coilover setup w/ mounts (have been sent to Bilstein for clean, check, and refill...they worked fine and this is simply a "freshen-up" move.....) ( http://www.lmperformance.com/824/1.html ) $1200 1 - 32mm GM 1LE Front sway bar $50 1 - 21mm GM 1LE Rear sway bar $50 Sold also have: like new (5K miles of city driving) 4.56 gears for a 12 bolt $100 billingsley racing (now Burkhart Chassis) Manual Brake Kit ( http://www.burkhartchassis.com/fbodycomponets.html ) $100 These prices do not include shipping..... 1 - Spohn adjustable torque arm modified to mount on a custom fabed tranny cross member, T56 ONLY, ( looks much like this only retains the stock IC location through mounting on the tranny cross member... http://www.lmperformance.com/15598/1.html ) $100
Is this for the 10 bolt rear? Can you send pics to maggieandbill@earthlink.net ? Particular focus on the modification. Thanks! |

Can;t blame me for trying, although buying parts for a car that doesn't run probably doesn't make much sense...

What is the benefit that the Manual Brake Kit ( http://www.burkhartchassis.com/fbodycomponets.html ) provides?

What is the benefit that the Manual Brake Kit ( http://www.burkhartchassis.com/fbodycomponets.html ) provides? Jason I did it for a couple of reasons. Better pedal feel, weight reduction, and curiousity. (I guess that's three reasons actually...) I don't have abs anymore, and wanted the ability to feel the brakes better, to help manage threshold braking. The car has been on the road only twice since then, working out tuning bugs. No hard stops yet. The biggest change is that it takes a good bit of pressure to get the brakes to start working. But not a lot more pressure after that, to get a lot of braking. I used the Billingsley setup. Basically the same thing, except there's no included bracket for mounting the proportioning valve directly to the master cylinder. I'm not sure having that brake line loop higher than the fluid level is a good thing anyway. That would be easy enough to modify though. |

how about the upper control arm mounts on the coil over kit? can I keep my stock ones? You can keep your stock upper A-arms but the coilovers come with a new upper mount that has a "coilover bracket" welded on it to accept the sperical bearing of the coilover. Its a direct replacement setup. |
