Hey Everyone!

Long time, no see!

I have had my "only used once" full floater setup sitting in storage for a long time. Recently, I sent it to my gear shop to have it given the once over. He checked it all out and it was good but for a slightly bent axle tube. We had had them cambered before and took it to a race shop to have the axles put back to spec.

Here are a few photos of the setup as it sits now:

I can get more if there is interest.

Here is the setup:
  • Speedway Engineering Full Floater Housing
  • Mark Williams Aluminum Center Section w/3.55 rear gears
  • 31 Spline Axles
  • Wilwood SuperLite Brake Caliper/Rotor setup to match to Stoptech ST60s in Front
  • DPI Platinum Trac Differential
The whole setup had 4th Gen Camaro brackets put on it to work with the Unbalanced Engineering Decoupled Torque Arm setup.

The housing was approx. $900 new, the center sections start at $2000 on Mark Williams site, and the brakes were around $1000 or so, and then axles, seals, etc...all adds up. Over $5000 in it new....

I am looking at a FIRE SALE on this as it has sat for a long time and needs a home.

Was looking at $2000 OBO.

Hoping to sell local in Norcal so I can deliver.

Thanks

Let me know

I am finally getting the final list of things that need to go out there....

$3000 Speedway Engineering Full Floater Ford 9". Top of the line everything. Mark Williams Aluminum center section, Wilwood 4 piston calipers, Mod Lite housing and Grand National hubs outer setup. The housing is a bit bent and some of the F Body mounts are damaged, but the housing could be straightened and the brackets fixed. Or, buy a new housing cheap and have your own new brackets put on. This setup cost over $6000 a year ago. I will make sure the Mark Williams center section is still in perfect condition before the sale from my gear shop. Will also check the axles/other parts. The center section alone was $3500.....get the housing/brakes/axles/hubs/etc for free and rebuild.

$1999 Tex 101A Dog Ring race box. This transmission KILLS ME to sell. Thing was absolutely the most fun to drive that I have EVER SEEN! It is absolutely amazing up a straight....lift and shift absolutely NO HESITATION in pulling up the straight. These go all day long used on eBay for about $1999 as I can see....again, I will have my gear shop ensure it is perfect before the sale. I paid about $2800 for it a year ago.

SOLD Entire front suspension set up from my car ( less the upper and lower control arms and shocks). Porsche 996 Brake calipers and rotors, Custom cooling ducts into center of rotor, decent used pads. Spare used hubs and spare used rotors. This is the exact setup that was on my car until the Cortex/Stoptech upgrade a few months ago.

$500 My old LT1 383 short block. Has JE gas ported pistons and forged crank and rods. It was good with my AI heads for about 468 RWHP. It was pulled at the end and needs a FULL refresh. All crated and ready to go.
S&S...the original builder of the motor will refresh for $600 if any want to make SURE it is good to go on arrival....just an option

$500 VFN rear hatch and Lexan. The hatch survived in one piece. The lexan has a bit of a scratch in the non viewing area.....the black surround. It should be able to be buffed out. The hatch has 3 dZus button holes that were ripped out in the crash...simple fiberglass repair....and two cutouts in the rear corners...again, simple repair. Rear straps are in place and included. Get the hatch and Lexan for what one or the other would cost you.

$350 One set of silver ZR1 Corvette wheels. OE Concepts 50mm offset. Has set of Goodyear RS tires that have 4 heat cycles on them mounted.

$250 One set of BRAND NEW Raybestos ST43 Front Brake Pads for the Porsche 996 brake calipers. I loved the Raybestos for feel, lack of fade and ease on rotors. These are a step up from the Pagid Blacks I was using ($399 new)

$75 Two individual silver ZR1 Corvette wheels. OE Concepts 50mm offset. Tires are OLD, and can be dismounted before shipping.

All prices are negotiable and BO. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.

Probably will be more as I clean out the trailer and shop.

Thanks...

I am finally getting the list of things that no longer fit on my Camaro after all the Cortex/Stoptech changes together and putting them up for sale. ALL PARTS LISTED WERE NOT ON THE CAR DURING MY BIG WRECK.

These parts are parts that were taken off the car during the pre season build up of suspension and brakes. If I had not upgraded my suspension and brakes, and the car was still alive, I would be driving on this equipment today.

NEW PRICE $1000 Entire front suspension set up from my car ( less the upper and lower control arms and shocks). Porsche 996 Brake calipers and rotors, Custom cooling ducts into center of rotor, decent used pads. Spare used hubs and spare used rotors. This is the exact setup that was on my car until the Cortex/Stoptech upgrade a few months ago.

NEW PRICE$350 One set of silver ZR1 Corvette wheels. OE Concepts 50mm offset. Has set of Goodyear RS tires that have 4 heat cycles on them mounted.

NEW PRICE $250 One set of BRAND NEW Raybestos ST43 Front Brake Pads for the Porsche 996 brake calipers. I loved the Raybestos for feel, lack of fade and ease on rotors. These are a step up from the Pagid Blacks I was using ($399 new)

NEW PRICE$75 Two individual silver ZR1 Corvette wheels. OE Concepts 50mm offset. Tires are OLD, and can be dismounted before shipping.

$15 Six sets of new 1.5mm metric acorn lug nuts

SOLD One set of LGM Front Lower Control Arms. Powder coated a wrinkle finish black, and in perfect shape.

SOLD Pro 5.0 shifter stick new....6" long

SOLD Bump Steer kit. Used 1/2 a season....$170 new.

SOLD One set of UMI Front Upper Control Arms. The newer ones with the ball joint plate moved for better travel/location. Powder coated wrinkle finish black.

SOLD One set of Front Upper Control Arm Mounts converted for hiem jointed race shock mounting. Powder Coated gloss black

SOLD One set of 46mm CCW Classic wheels with black annodized centers. Mounted with Goodyear RS tires that have about 8 heat cycles left on them. One wheel has a scar from a hit 3 years ago when they were 30 minutes old, but all balance true.

SOLD Pro Stop 2 Piece rotor setup. One used rotor left for a pattern to send to Coleman to have new rotors made, Other rotor is gone. Set up for the Porsche 996 brake kits.

All prices are negotiable and BO. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.

I will be starting another thread soon with the parts left over from the wreck. I need to go through that stuff a bit closer to inspect and be honest with what I have and what will work.

Thanks...
