So I saved up and bought the Dulaney hub brackets and the SKF corvette racing hubs but have some issues or concerns.

Is there a difference between a 4th Gen LT1 and a 4th gen LS1 spindle in the area of where the hub mounts? Do both spindles have that chamfered area where the body of the hub goes through? The reason I am bring this up is when I trial fitted the Dulaney hub adapters, the lip on the back of the hub adapter did not even come close to engaging the main part of the spindle hole. The lip on the back of the hub adapter only engages in the chamfered area of the spindle hole which gives a rather loose fit and relies on the 4 hub mounting bolts for all its strength and its security. The lip on the adapter is 4 mm high. I am concerned that just the 4 mounting bolts is not strong enough without the lip engaging past the chamfered hole in the spindle or am I just being overly concerned. Are the 4 Arp mounting bolts more than strong for this?

I would like to request a little help and experience in selecting new headers that tuck up nicely under the car. The current headers from SLP have been on the car for about 10 years and for the most part were decent except for they hung low. And dragged on everything that was 3 inches or taller in the road. Now Fast forward to June 2014, just got my tired Bilstein ASN shocks re-valved for stiffer springs and installed. Now with the height adjusters at max height the header is approximately 2.1 inches from the ground when measured. Definitely way too low for street driving. From where I jack the frame up I have 5 inches of clearance.

Any undercar photos that shows a well built system would be great.

Requisites are:
Stainless steel; full length headers; no bigger than 1.75 primaries; Y-pipe diameter smaller than 3 inch if possible, 2.5 inch would be great and then merge to 3 inch factory axle back exhaust.

A well engineered set of headers and Y-pipe that closely hug the floor pan shouldn't be a problem, should it?

I hope these photos show

This picture shows low header dilemma.

I am impressed with 580HP and no brake hop. Just imagine if it had PILOT CUP SPORT TIRES like the new ZR1 does. I can see another 10 secs disappear from that time.

Hey its in German, and sometimes there is music, but hey deal with it. I have dealt with it for 20 years over here.
