I'm seeing rumors of GM coming out with an 8.3 liter Duramax in 2026 or 2027. I don't think diesel is going away. We still need it for heavy trucks and equipment. But I'm torn on what the EPA will ultimately force the manufacturers to do next.

That's what I meant by non-commercial going away. It might still allow 3500 and up to be diesel. Or 4500 and up.
