Here's your chance to help truly worthy cause! My mom is the original owner of a 94 Z28. The car is still her daily driver, as it has been since she bought it new, over 200,000 miles ago. She keeps it in pristine shape and it's her pride and joy. She is the sterotypical little old lady with a hotrod car.

Her (dealer) mechanic is unable to locate part that needs replacing. It's a water pump drive shaft, part # is 10219554. It's long discontinued. It's the gear driven, splined shaft that protrudes from the timing cover, that the coupler slides onto. I suspect that she wants it replaced because the seal has worn a groove that creates a leak.

It's the part marked #11 in this image.

I'd truly appreciate it if anyone has a serviceable one, just pm me with a price.

Rock Auto wants $500 for a non vented AC Delco opti spark. Anyone know of better places to buy? I'm leery of remanufactured units and Autozone cheapies. Should I consider aftermarket like MSD or other? Seems like I remember QC issues with MSDs when they first came out but I don't know if they are now a proven product. Any info appreciated.

New SLP LT1 headers & y pipe. Fits 93 LT1 emissions only. Headers are coated stainless steel, Y pipe not coated, not stainless. No longer available from SLP, cost new was $840. Includes installation instructions and CARB stickers. Does not include bolts or gaskets. Requires donut gaskets for y pipe, not included. I'd like to get $500 for them.

I spent the cleaning up the front yard and garden. If we can go a couple of days without rain, I think I'll mow the lawn on Sunday. Now I gotta go take some chicken out of the freezer to bbq.
