New job, new requirements, need new wheels. I need a 4 door car that holds 4 adults. No room for a fourth car and the Formula's not that great to keep around anyway. (the Firehawk does stay, however) Not looking to compete Nationally, but it would be nice to be semi- competitive locally. Would like to stay around $30k or less.
Thoughts?

Apparently we can look forward to even higher insurance rates for SCCA events next year....
I gather this was from Central Illinois (Rantoul). Don't know the details, but the fifth hand story was the guy lost it in a slalom, skidded until he hit grass, at which point it caught and flipped. Rumor is the put on a spare tire, rolled it back over and the guy drove it away. (IMG:http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n230/digitalseance/04-21-07/FL010015.jpg)

Besides the owner's manual, anyone have or have a link to a good maintenance schedule (this is for his Silverado that sees some plow duties for his loooong driveway in the U.P., not a raced car). My Dad asked me, which is weird, because I use the one he gave me years ago.

Anyone know where to get a drawbar with a big drop (over 6") for a Class 2 hitch? I know they make adjustable ones for 2" receivers that will get up to a 10" drop, but I can't find one for Class 2. Maybe it's something I need to have fabbed up.
I towed the SCCA trailer with the Bravada, but the wife's new Grand Cherokee's hitch is about 7" higher, so I need to figure something out.

Considering we both have GM Cards, she's owned/driven nothing but GM and short of a Mercury, I've had all GM's this was a bit unusual for us. I didn't really want another SUV that got around 20mpg (replacing our Bravada), but none of the American cute utes did it for us, and we still needed the cargo room. We even stooped to looking at the Maxx out of frustration/desperation (the Bravada was going to need $ sunk into it before the dead of winter). Also didn't want an SUV because resale could be squat in a couple years and I may not want it then if gas spikes. Anyhow, Chrysler had some great incentives last week and we got a 15k mile/year lease with zero down for $400 a month and I couldn't pass that up, at least not on a vehicle that invoices at $30k
