We have too many cars and it is time to sell our 1995 Firehawk. It has been a great car, and is still a blast to drive.
1995 Formula Firehawk - $5500 LT1 -350 - 93,000 miles t-56 Black Grey leather interior T-tops PW/PL CD player It has been out daily driver for the past 6-7 years. We have put around 50k miles on it since we have owned it. It is still in good shape, but it is a driver. The BAD; The first owner rolled it with 22k miles and the damage was too much for the insurance company to fix. Then Mr Denton (3rd owner) bought the car as a project from a friend of his who was in the process of fixing it. The back half of the car is from a donor firebird. A great deal of care was taken to ensure the car would be right when the two halves were put together. It still has the original drivetrain. A few years ago, the drivers side rear quarter was smashed and we had a new one put on, by Mr Denton as well. The drivers seat is a little worn, the paint isn't perfect, it would be a great driver and or track car. If you have any questions feel free to pm or email me. I also have the carfax and can send it to anyone who is interested. Still fighting an electrical gremlin, but we are getting a handle on it.
Anyhow, got it down on the ground today and pushed it outside. Unfortunately I won't be able to go, since I am going to Hallett. But it is a deal other than being a Friday Saturday event.
Grattan Event; $50 Off For NASA Members We're keeping online registration open until 5pm Wednesday, so save your money and register anytime before Wednesday at 5pm! $100 Off For Non-NASA Members We're also offering $100 off for non-NASA members this weekend. First, we're waiving late fees for all non-NASA members and, with their registration, we'll also buy their NASA membership. This weekend's low-stress event at Grattan is a great first-time NASA experience. Invite your friends to join us for their first NASA event. Simply forward this email to them by clicking here. Don't forget--by referring a friend to NASA, you'll earn points towards track time through our Winner Card program. Race Drivers Get More Track Time This weekend's Grattan event features one race Friday and two races Saturday, with your best two races counting for series points. Now that's an easy way to earn some series points! About Grattan Raceway Did you know Grattan is steeped in Corvette history? Corvette develops their cars here, with special emphasis on brake development. Perhaps the 3,200-foot straight might have something to do with that. Plus, the famed C4 Corvette ZR-1 was developed here, the C5-R's first test was held here and Corvette continues to develop their cars at this challenging 2-mile road course. Think you're a driver? Grattan is known as a drivers' track and has features that you don't find everywhere--a 160-degree hairpin and an off-camber, downhill turn. And let's not forget the jump. If you can master this track, you can handle almost anything a race track can throw at you.

Had the opportunity to go to the GM Heritage Center last weekend.
Here is some info about it; The GM Heritage Center serves as a showplace for the vehicles of the GM Heritage Collection, and as the home of the Heritage and Media Archive. Located in an 81,000 square foot facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan, the Center has approximately 200 vehicles on display, while the Archive houses 15,000 linear feet of shelving containing significant documents, manuals, brochures, and artifacts documenting GM's rich history of innovation. The Heritage Center is primarily used for GM internal events and meetings. Though not open to the public for daily visits, the Heritage Center can be used as a meeting or event center, with the capability to host gatherings of up to 500+ guests. http://www.gm.com/corporate/about/heritage/about/index.jsp A link to my pictures; http://s51.photobucket.com/albums/f400/roa...nter/?start=all (IMG:http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f400/roadracerwhite/gm%20heritage%20center/P8230464.jpg) (IMG:http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f400/roadracerwhite/gm%20heritage%20center/P8230485.jpg) (IMG:http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f400/roadracerwhite/gm%20heritage%20center/P8230369.jpg) (IMG:http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f400/roadracerwhite/gm%20heritage%20center/P8230367.jpg) |
