Ok so, since I just lost blood and vast quantities of pride in this endeavor... can anyone tell me exactly where the flasher module is?

you know you can't post something like that without telling us the embarrassing story. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Awww crap! I was hoping this would float to the bottom of the screen. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) So I've been swamped with school and trying to get a pilots license and stuff so I haven't been doing the car thing so much for a bit. Well, for the last month or so, my turn signals have been getting slower and slower so I knew it was coming, but I kept putting off the flasher module replacement. Finally, I get to the other day where it's almost dead, I had just finished my last exam of the quarter, and then I was supposed to meet friends at a bar, so my intelligent idea is to quickly replace the flasher module. I go get the parts, and shorly thereafter find myself upside down in the driver's seat of the car... in the parking lot... and it's starting to rain. I can't find the damn thing, and as I try to pull the pins from the very bottom shroud, my hand slips and I slice the side of my thumb open on a piece of metal (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif) . Now I'm pissed and bleeding. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rant2.gif) I go back up to the apartment and find I have no bandaids, so I go next door to the neighbor (she's a nurse (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ) to get a bandaid. She's not there but I get some from her roommate. Here's where it all goes south. I bandage my thumb and start posting here to find the damn module in the car. Then my girlfriend calls. She's freaking out about my hand, then my nurse neighbor comes home and her roommate sends her my way. She knocks on my door freaking out about my thumb, and now my girlfriend is getting jealous. All this time, I still can't find the damn module, I'm tired (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) , I feel stupid (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) , and I just want to go get drunk. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/drink.gif) I really shouldn't be allowed to work on cars... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif) |

I guess I should have moved to Columbus instead of Texas, I want a cute nurse for a neighbor.

Heh, it's actually not hard. Take off the very bottom panel on the driver's side, it's th eone just above the pedals. It's clipped out of sight on the inside of a metal channel on the center console side of the car (under the HVAC stuff sorta...).
