Oh you guys are missing the good part now. He's telling me the holes increase rotor heat and more heat = less friction which is all somehow good for stopping power.

(IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif) I was trying to find the thread where I spent 3 pages explaining all of this stuff on LS1tech, but I couldn't turn it up. I think his name was warlock something or another..... |

Yes, there was a reply. Now he's saying he meant SLOTS had advantages, LOL. The contortions going on in that thread could make any gymnast jealous.

Thank you...I think I really needed this. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
We so rarely have any debates on that site, much less any high-order tech debates. I think I needed a little drama, I've been in a funk lately (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/whip.gif) |

Gets lined up for a full twisting backflip in a pike position...... I finally got over there and read it... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Looks like a lot of the good stuff got deleted by the author already, but enough of it is preserved in replies to get the gist of it. Wouldn't slotted rotors, besides being lighter themselves, also help with unsprung weight reduction by grating the pads down faster too? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/burnout.gif) |

So it's all "there" and it will stay...... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif) I really was trying to explain it to him, but I wanted to make sure he couldn't change his mind/story. And, since he was being a bit defensive, I might not have been as gentle as usual on him, but I tried not to beat him up too bad either. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Geez, I guess he did get mad and go home...... Oops. |
