Lookin' good. I've seen your posts on and off over the last couple of years at TGO and that car has come a long way. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) :drive:

thanks.

I've had this 88 for about 2.5 years now.
My other car, an 86 Trans Am with an LT1/T56 setup was sold late last year. That may be the car that you are thinking of.

Here is a video from an Event a few months ago at the same location,
http://www.transamws6.com/video/manny-acu4.wmv

The lot we use is the parking lot for the LCAC Hovercrafts at Little Creek Amphib base in Va Beach, VA.
The section we use is huge (outlined in red), but small compared to the overall size of the lot,

That event was last weekend and it was pouring down on Saturday with ankle high water on the course. they still ran too.
Sunday was decent, overcast but no rain I believe.
My car was down and I didn't want to fix it in the rain so I missed the event.

Nice shot, Zeph. That car has come a long way. But as I always tell ya, I still miss that black car. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I sometimes miss the black one as well, and wish that I just pushed on and completed it.
It had pretty much all the cool shit you can add to the car.
360rwhp LT1, T56, Spec Flywheel, Spohn x-member and torque arm with DS loop, BMR LCA's, BMR Panhard, AGX Shocks/struts, 4.10 LS1 rear, 95 Dash, Deltec Coil Pack setup, OZ Monte Carlo Wheels. and a bunch of other stuff.
Would have made a great all around performance car.
I can't really complain though since I got $5K for the car which was in pieces (we just put the tranny and other loose items into the car since there were no seats) and $500 for the wheels.

here are a few pics for those that haven't seen the car before,

Nice shot Zeph. I remember your old black T/A from a video I saw of it ripping up and down that street it's parked on (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I think I still have that video too actually!

How hard was it fitting that '95 dash in your old T/A?

In that video of me cruising up and down the street, the car had a cammed 305TPI setup.
http://www.transamws6.com/video/ZepherWS6.mpg

The dash pretty much bolted right in, just had to make a couple of new holes on the upper part where the dash attaches to the firewall.

OK, this is eerie. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

My license plate is (also) RACERX.

I too, am in Street Mod.

Car number 96.

I guess that means I can contribute to the "Cool Auto-X pic" thread? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

it looks like Rich Scheffers CP TA. I know Steve Brueke knows him. he has or had a 84 TA that was caged and ran 12s on all four corners. 600HP SBC under the hood (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)
