Ahhh forget it its already done and I did a great job! That was my first project at my NEW second job tackled by myself with periodic direction. He was very pleased as was I to do something and have all those tools at hand to make it right. I was a little timid especially since I had not intended on preforming solo and I wouldnt say it was easy either. Just wanted to share with you guys. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
I found this opportunity to work with a well know person to the racer community. He has so much stuff that he does, and that I will be doing with him. The shop I was at(he has 3) is a dream come true there. So many great tools, complete fab shop. 3 huge lathes,1 lathes makes wheels, band saws, dipplers, presses, breaks and benders,a tubing bender, mig, wire, buz, plasma soo much more... coolest a injection molder I was checking out the NACA ducts he had made with it (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) . The possiblility is endless just make a good mold and trial and error... I'm digging on this thinking what I wanna do with it (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The weirdest thing there is a HUGE electron microscope (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) WHAT THE HECK. Who knows what I'll find in there next real big place. He has 2 land speed cars he has built there from scratch neat, 2 others in the process of being built that I will be helping with also one is going to be electric. A few restored classics.5 friggin race trailers only one open,RVs motor homes. I will also be working with him arranging running events he is doing here in town.Like a car show and truck/tractor pull coming up not to mention crewing for him at the land speed events. This could really pan out who knows. I don't NEED a second job I make great money at my present career. He is only paying me $16hr. so its a labor of love CARS. I'm doing it for the exposure and to learn more for myself. And better my racing days and do some of the things I've been dreaming about. Secondly he has no computer knowledge (same for lots of old folks its like the plague) So added on I will be selling alot of stuff he has via internet for him on commision. The stuff resides at another shop huge shop 250ft. x 450ft. x 70ft. tall. Full of equipment industrial equipment, more lathes, cnc machines, more presses, generators down to small things like heavy duty casters in bulk and a gross of HID lights salvage type stuff sooo many different things all for sale. He just needs the right exposure to get rid of this stuff I'm gonna give it a go. Housed in the same building is a hydralic lines and fittings store also his. All the stuff to do the compressed fittings on steel braided lines. Hard lines custom bent. A WALL OF -AN FITTINGS (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Just wanted to share you guys not really bragging if thats the way it seems,I'm just stoked thats all (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Its something |
