Wassup fellas

Allow me to introduce my car. I have a 94 camaro that used to have a 3.4l in it as of right now it has a bmr k member and custom motormounts that hold a GN motor (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Right now in in school for product design and have acess to a small design company, soo hopefully i can do some of my own one-off parts and sell them. I want to start off with autox once my car is complete and move on to road racing, even though i kno that ill be put in some sick class cause of the swap. Anyways I hope to learn lots from you guys, and Ill see you at some events next season.

Thanx much I think i really want to go unique as possible. my ultimate goal is to open a shop in the Detroit area once i get out of school. Id like for my car to be right in the middle of my showroom with some trophys around it. Good news though I got some twin turbo manifolds custom fabbed up for me coming soon bad news they were 700 bux. Any how are there any fellow michiganders. Im in the Detroit area and would like to meet some fbodiers and talk shop.

I think you would be in SM. For that class the engine block has to have been made or offered by the same manufacturer (or a rebadged corporate marketing alias), and the displacement limit for a blown pushrod engine is 4.0L.

Chevy and Pontiac have been using the Buick 3.8 block in various forms and cars for a long time (including the 4th gen), and by the early 80s the separate divisions were sharing everything except the Corvette.

Sounds cool! Welcome!

Hubby swapped a 3.8 V6 in our CJ5 Jeep. He used some Kenne-Bell and Edelbrock parts to build it. It has a unique sound being balanced and blueprinted! Works great off-road and does not overheat like the V8s in that app.

Honestly, I've never been to the Woodward Dream Cruise in my 5 years in Detroit. I sit in traffic jams every day going to work and coming home. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) It's probably a good time, but it's just not my thing. I'm more of a person who watches racing instead of cruising.
