I have been trying to locate a UBE De-coupled Torque Arm for awhile and they are no longer being produced. Does anyone have any leads on one that I could buy? This is for a 3rd gen, so the race version is preferable for retrofit purposes but I'm not going to be picky.
P.S. - I'm posting this here because I don't have the post count for the classifieds section. I have more questions for suspension setup, but I'll save them for after I post this. |

Hey stranger, welcome to the forum (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Good luck on your quest. Thank you. I guess I should've introduced myself first. I actually joined awhile ago to catch some good info and possibly some used parts. My name is Chris and I'm located West of Milwaukee, WI. I have an 86 Z28 that started life as a carbed 305 automatic. I have completely redone the drivetrain and some suspension parts since I bought it in 2011. The engine and transmission are an LT1/T56 combo out of a 94 Camaro. The heads and cam are from advanced induction, upped the compression, and threw out the optispark in favor of efi connection 24x. My rear end is for an 02 Camaro with 4:10 gears and a Zexel Torsen limited slip. On the suspension side, I've only replaced the rear lower control arms, panhard bar, and all for shocks. My original goal was to drag race on occasion and be able to enjoy it on the street. I've recently decided to do a road race setup instead. |

I was just in Milwaukee for part of Summerfest. It's a cool town. Welcome aboard!

Thank you for moving this over for me, Trackbird.
I was just in Milwaukee for part of Summerfest. It's a cool town. Welcome aboard! Yeah, Milwaukee has some cool stuff going on all the time. Summerfest is probably the most notable. Thank you, I'm looking forward to getting my car ready for the road again and having some real fun with it. |
