I have a friend looking for one as well. So if there is one left after you grab one, send them my way.

He had messaged me saying someone on FRRAX said I wanted to sell mine. Kind of assumed it was you since you’re very active in the AX community. OP best of luck finding one. Hopefully Jason makes a few more. If I had known this many people wanted one I would have asked for more $$. |

I had a lead on one from a frrax member who PM’d me but deal ultimately fell through due to shipping and packaging costs; north of $200 which kinda killed the deal for me. I won’t be getting a new UE TA either due to cost, I emailed and he wants $850. I dunno if that’s plus tax and shipping but that’s crazy, how much were they originally? I thought $650. Anyways since I need something now I called up BMR and got their stock length TA and Relocation cross member with discount and free shipping. I’ll learn to live with it. The first batch was ready to ship the end of August 2004, and I received bolt-in unit #4 the end of September 2004. My price was $695; $756 shipped from CA to FL. With inflation, $695 in 9/2004 is the same as $945 in June 2020. |

Have big stuff like that shipped to work if you can. Shipping to a business can be half of what it costs to ship to a residence.

IRRC in 2015/2016 it was in the $800-$850 range plus shipping for the bolt-in version. I definitely would not expect it to be cheaper now. It's a complicated part so the price never seemed excessive to me. And in the scheme of the car it's one of the cheapest parts of it.
Reminds me of how absurd it is for people to complain about differentials costing more than $500. |

That probably had to do with junkyards being full of 9-inch rear ends for cheap back in the '80s and '90s.
