Time has come to move on. Car has been good to me but I think it's time to go the C5 route. I daily drove this a good amount and locally autocrossed 4-5 times a season.
Engine/Drivetrain/Interior: -TorqHead 24x Ignition conversion -GM E85 flex fuel sensor (first TorqHead LT1 E85 capable car) -Racetronix 255lph fuel pump with upgraded wiring harness -DeatschWerks 50lb injectors -ATI aluminum 10% UD crank damper -LUK clutch with Fidanza Aluminum FW -MGW shifter -4” CAI on Speed density -58mm Throttle Body with ported stock intake opening -Pacesetter LT’s, catless Y pipe, Vibrant 3” muffler -PSC deflowed PS pump with B&M stacked plate PS cooler and Redline PS fluid -Griffin universal aluminum radiator with OEM fans -SLP manual fan switch -New upper and lower radiator hoses -160* thermostat -Meziere electric water pump with LED warning light -Driven 330mm suede steering wheel and retains horn function (stock wheel + airbag included) -SpeedHut Revolution series (built in warning light) Oil Pressure/Oil Temp and Water Temp gauges -Raptor Shift Light in dash (programmable) -LS1 front brake swap, Brake Motive rotors with HP+ front pads and SS braided lines. Stock rear brakes/pads -Prothane poly motor mounts -Eaton TrueTrac differential -Camaro SS 10 spoke wheels with 275/40/17 -Heater core has been replaced due to small leak -Heat works, AC removed (still have parts) Power windows/locks all work. -Cruise control removed (still have parts) -Interior is in great shape (dash pad is cracked though) -Aftermarket single din CD player -MustangDyno Tune at Skaats Precision Motorsports 311hp/340tq Suspension: -UMI/AFCO coilovers with Hyperco 850/250 springs -Suspension Technique 35mm solid front sway bar and end links -Hellwig 22mm solid 3 way adjustable rear sway bar with custom adjustable end links. -Fays 2 Watts Link -UMI rod end rear LAC’s -Rear LCA relocation brackets welded -Sub frame connectors -Front strut bar -Unbalanced Engineering Decoupled Torque Arm -Strano brake master cylinder brace The “bad” -Dash is cracked due to sun/heat cycles. -Rear spoiler is OEM red Z28 one but is vinyl wrapped. Car came with a “whale tale” RK Sport spoiler that was quickly removed. Because of poor spoiler fitment it rubbed the paint off in small areas on rear trunk lid. Extras -A custom harness bar with Corbeau Fbody seat adapter -Stock steering wheel -Spare almost brand new PSC PS pump -Spare OEM front hubs Comments: -Flag decals on the sides are only a sticker and can be removed. I hand drew them then had them digitized and cut by a local shop. -Hood is vinyl wrapped and can be removed. I did it for looks, not to cover up any issue. Asking $7000 OBO. I bought the car at 50k mi and have done everything listed above. I have an Excel file of all mods with a corresponding date and mileage. Any questions let me know! Hood vinyl has been removed since it had a racing logo under it which would have been too personal for resale. Also, rear berger panel plastidip+stickers have been removed.
60* sunny windows down this morning on my way to work smelling that sweet aroma that is E85 (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Aftermarket steering wheel, Corbeau seat and SKF hubs will most likely be transferred to the C5. Price can be adjusted accordingly.

Bump $8000
Steering wheel will stay with the car. Stock wheel will also go with the car. Not worth it to swap everything around. This post has been edited by Smitty2919: Oct 10 2018, 08:11 PM |

Bump. Ready for a new home.
I might be keeping the outdated harness and Cobeau seat to put in the C5 unless someone is adamant about taking them with the car. This post has been edited by Smitty2919: Nov 14 2018, 04:46 PM |

Man, 1,250 views I thought I'd have SOME interest lol. LT1 cars are tough. GM really screwed the LT1 owners when they put the LS1 in as a mid body style swap. With that said, this car is in nice shape and ran very well when I last saw it. If you're looking for a car to jump in and go autocross...this is worthy of consideration. |

Thanks a lot Kevin!
Since you saw it at Goodguys it's changed a little with the coilovers and E85 setup. Does well for itself and surprises some people. Has a fresh tank of corn waiting for someone! |
