Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! It's been way to long since I last posted here.

I came back, as I will soon be an F-body owner again. I've recently ordered a 2017 Camaro 2SS. It should be built during the week of Feb 6-10. Being a loyal (if absent) member of FFRAX, I had to get all the go-fast goodies: dual-mode exhaust, 6-piston Brembo brakes, magnetic shocks, etc. It'll be black, with black wheels, red rally stripes, and a red interior.

But, gonna have to get rid of my beloved G8. Don't suppose anyone here is interested in it, huh? It's a 2008 G8 GT. It has 175k miles on the clock, but most everything was replaced ~130k miles. Cam swap (411rwhp) replaced all the parts up top, full suspension (Eibach springs, Koni SA shocks, poly bushings, etc.), Brembo 4-piston brakes, complete custom sound system (only head unit is stock; even replaced all wiring), custom wheels, and a lot of other do-dads. I'm probably going to ask $12k for it, but I'd take $10k from one of you lovely people.

Some pics of the G8

And here's what the Camaro should look like.

Of course, I don't even have the car, and already have some parts sitting around waiting to be put on.

Well you won't be an F body owner, more like an alpha body owner! But congrats on the new car regardless, I'm sure it will be awesome as it comes from the factory especially with the upgrades. Good luck with the G8 sale too, thats sounds like a great price for a lot of performance.

Geez...you leave the door unlocked and you never know what will wander in. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Good to see you back! And congrats on the new car. I looked at the new ones and I've been tempted, but I just can't decide. I'm interested to see how you like it and how far you go with it. It's about time somebody here bought a new one. I kinda figured it was going to be me.

I can't go overboard with it. It's gonna be a lease. I did some maths, and over 12 years, I can lease 3 cars, versus buy 2, and save over $20k. Plus, a lease will force me to keep the car civilized. My wife won't even ride in the G8 anymore!

But, GM still honors warranty stuff, even if you go to the track. And we all know that tires and brake pads will be a better investment than $10k of engine or suspension mods.
