2002 Camaro SS SLP package 35th anniversary edition well prepared for Autx and track days. Car has all the factory options on it except 6CD changer.
Price $10,750 Amount I spend on mods to the car last year $5761.02 Mileage 49,000 Condition 7 out of 10 (IMG:http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/k534/charchri4/02CamSS.jpg) History: The car was purchased new by the body shop manager at Munday Chevrolet in Houston for his wife’s car. She drove the car for 3 years and on the way to trade it in the body shop guy decided to see what it would do. He spun the car in an intersection and slid into a pole knocking in the rear quarter. The car did not have enough damage to be a total loss but he called it totaled to sell it to a friend of his. The friend who bought it is the area sales rep for PPG paint and owner of his own body shop. He stuck the car in the corner of his shop and left it sit for 5 years. He then fixed it, drove it for about 6 months and then sold it to me November of 2011 with 43,000 miles on it. So the car has always been in the south and always been adult driven. (IMG:http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/k534/charchri4/Sale%20stuff/IMG1599copy_zps5d0db3c2.jpg) Issues: First thing you should know is the car has a salvage title to it. However the damage was minor and I and cannot tell which quarter was hit on the car. I believe it was the passenger side but am not sure. The other important thing you need to know is the transmission needs to come out and be fixed. It has a bent shift fork in it so 3rd and 4th are hard to get into. I would be glad to have it rebuilt by a professional shop before you take possession of the car or you can take it as is for $750 less. ($10,000) Now for the good news: I bought and built the car with the intention of keeping it forever so I spared no expense to build the best car for what I wanted to do. (You don’t need the details but suffice to say I don’t want to sell it, I need to sell it) This is my 3rd 4th gen Camaro and by far the best and most loved one. Most of the miles on the car are just driving 34 miles each way to work on country roads. However the car is set up to be very competitive at auto x or track days. All work on the car was done by me and I have 8 years’ experience as a line mechanic in a Chevrolet dealer and am an ASE certified master tech and certified Chevrolet technician. (IMG:http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/k534/charchri4/982012s.jpg) Modifications include: Wheels and tires: 18x10.5 OEwheels C6 Z06 deep dish wheels in comp gray with stainless lip http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Wheels_3/...eel-gunmetal_3 Tires are 235/30-18 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110s with less than 1000 miles on them. I have the mounting paperwork to prove it. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...w=false&cs=295 You do the math you will see I have over $1600 into them with mounting. Above wheels fit F bodies with no mods but look much better spaced out so I have ARP long studs with 1/2 billet spacers for front and 5/8 billet spacers for back with lug nuts. Suspension is a full 4/4 Koni on car adjustable Strano set up: http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...D=90&ModelID=7 Not pictured but included is poly bump stops and top hats. If you are in to the twisties there is no better street/ track set up out there. I paid $1700 and they have 5000 miles on them. Upper and lower control arms have fresh prothane poly mounts - less than 1000 miles in them. Very low mile adjustable Black poly/ rod end rear lower control arms and panhard bar with LCA relocation brackets. J&R 4 point diamond subframe connectors. http://www.coloradospeed.com/jm-3poi...np55qo2q2cdef2 Black UMI chromoly strut tower brace. Corbeau FX1 racing seat side mounted on a factory F body 4 way track, direct bolt in F body, with 5 point harness. http://www.corbeau.com/products/fixe...seats/fx1_pro/ Note I also have the stock seat that will go with the car and if you do not want the racing seat I will knock $250 off the price. 10 bolt rear end with 3.73s and Detroit Trutrac. Runs perfect no noise, no whine, no issues. Stainless Steel Headers, 3” TX Speed stainless ORB pipe, 3” cat back Bola Exhaust. No cats. ECM tuned by Frost, estimated 435 HP at the crank. Lunati cam and springs 220i/224e .755” 112 LSA RPM range 1800 – 6500. Nice cam lope but very street able. Prothane poly motor mounts and trans mounts with less than 1000 miles on them. Full set of Hawk SPS brake pads less than 1500 miles. All 4 Best brand brake rotors. These are not parts store specials they are high quality US made parts with low miles on them. These are serious performance parts so no bling holes... Light weight battery set up weighs 19 lbs and is NASA approved Shift lights and drivers side A pillar OEM Monsoon Radio with 1/8’ aux in jack. I plan on getting lots more photos and video of the car posted this weekend. Just wanted to start the dialog now on it. __________________ Jim Stainer |

You don't mean 235s on the tires for a 10.5" rim, do you?
