Are you planning to use MyLaps? Be advised that they charge a fee to transfer over a used transponder so it comes up under your name and allows you access to details. http://www.mylaps.com/index.php/us_eng/Web...ed_transponders This post has been edited by Doug Phillips: Jul 16 2012, 01:18 AM |

Doug, thanks for the reply, I was unaware of the MYLaps fees in conjunction with their high priced boxes. These devices usually sell for $80 less than new pricing and now with the "service fee" to transfer a number it make just good sense to just go buy a new one. I am going to just get a new one and move on from there... I was expecting at least a 50% price drop in the resale arena but this is not the case. Thanks again....

That is the cheapest I've seen one go for used, and that seller should be kicking himself for pricing it too low. With the yearly price increases from AMB, and the fact that they don't wear out, there is no reason to discount much from new plus the transfer fee. AMB has the transponder market locked up and can sqeeze the market for what it's worth. |

So I bought it for a friend and sent him over with the cash. LOL |
