What do you guys/gals think? Definitely cheaper this way than from GM or the local distributors. But my concern is "seconds".

Poor value at $400 for bare calipers. The rears are useless, new GM front calipers were around $100 each from Team, not that long ago. Plus you need the abutments/pins/seals/clips, etc. Check prices on 'friction ready' calipers from Team or other discount GM parts houses.

Why are the rears useless? Seem to have a decent piston diameter, they r aluminum and light. Do they spread?

Do u have a link for "Team"?

They are Corvette calipers, and are missing the abutments, just like the fronts. They would need different brackets to mount to a Fbody axle. IMO the rear disc brakes on the 3/4gen Fbody are adequate for RR/AX use, no need to change other than to freshen with new OEM parts and application specific pads. I have not heard of anyone working the rears hard enough to spread a caliper.

Team Chevrolet is a widely used GM parts supplier. Deeply discounted prices and free shipping for orders >$100.

Best to call Gale, he doesn't do email very well.

OK, if that's all u guys are worried about then I am in good shape. I already had the abutments, brackets, and calipers. I will need extra hardware since these are for backups (forgot to mention that part earlier). But I will keep shopping around as well. Makes no sense that the reds are cheaper than the blacks. Figured it would be the other way around. Thanks again.
