Well, it's been a long time since I've been up here! Sold the Camaro a few years ago and I understand it's been sold again. Oh well... I do miss it.
Damn!!! I still have admin rights! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Hope everyone's been doing well! Anyone going to the SCCA National Championship this year? |

Hey Steve! Good to have you drop in. Still doing any racing these days? Hey Kevin!!! Things are going great here. I've only run three events this year, the Dixie Nation tour, SE divisional Championship and one local event. But I will be at the Nationals this year. I missed last year and someone else drove the car to the National Championship! So now it's my turn! We'll be driving a different car next year. Can't say what it is yet but it weighs 2100 lbs with driver and has a 355 Chevy engine... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Can't wait! How's the board been going? Looks pretty busy! |

We're steady. Sticking with quality over quantity. We've got an even better group than before, but that's what happens when good people keep signing up. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Sounds like you've got an interesting project in the works for next season. When do we find out what it is? |

Thanks Julie!
Well, here it is, maybe no one will see this that I know! This is it. 914-8. it has a SBC (69 Z-28 block, aluminum heads, not sure of the head type yet). Not the ideal block for weight but we can fix that. We're adding another seat so we can take people for rides. A different hood is going on along with some SuperTrapp mufflers and different brakes with 4 piston calipers are going on the front. Can't wait! We pick it up next Wednesday at the Nationals. I'll be driving the F500 for the last time on Thursday and Friday. I'm sure gonna miss that car, right now me and the car are one, what I can think, the car can do, it's an awesome feeling. I'm sure we'll have to do a lot of tweaking on this one but it shouldn't be too bad. it has a SBC (69 Z-28 block, aluminum heads, not sure of the head type yet). DZ block? Built as a 302?Not exactly sure, it is a 355 though. When I asked if it was aluminum or iron he said 69 Z28 block, but who knows right now. I haven't even SEEN the car in person yet. All I know is I want an aluminum block! Our minimum weight is 1800 lbs I believe. So we can loose 300 lbs and be good!

Here are some other pics of the car. Also, I signed up the other day on the LS1Tech forum and they never approved me to post. Now, my IP address is banned???? WTF? Does anyone know anybody over there that can get me back in? Why would you ban someone that's never posted?
Anyway, here ya go: (IMG:http://www.daculaweather.com/stuff/914/P9080011.jpg) (IMG:http://www.daculaweather.com/stuff/914/P9080013.jpg) (IMG:http://www.daculaweather.com/stuff/914/P9080014.jpg) (IMG:http://www.daculaweather.com/stuff/914/P9080015.jpg) (IMG:http://www.daculaweather.com/stuff/914/P9080016.jpg) (IMG:http://www.daculaweather.com/stuff/914/P9080017.jpg) |

Steve,
It's not your IP being blocked on their end. I had the admin verify it and it's not in their blocked list. Not sure you can't access things from locations other than your home, but it appears to be something else causing the issue. |
