That looks like a monster... What kind of numbers are you expecting HP/TQ?

Is that based off of an LS3, or is it their own, completely new block (a la Dart, World, etc.)???

That looks like a monster... What kind of numbers are you expecting HP/TQ? Expecting??? How about dyno numbers? 725hp @ 7200rpm 562ft @ 6400rpm 300hp/480ft @ 3200rpm Umm yeah, that should do some damage. I'd take that over a quadruple digit turbo system. |

I'd take that over a quadruple digit turbo system. It's still not enough vs. someone who can drive it. The turbo motors just make too much power, hence why they are illegal in AIX in 2012. I was crewing on AI cars between the the guy who brought the most NA HP to Nats (Elliott Fisher) vs. the guy who brought the most HP to Nats (Chris Griswold). Even without Elliott's hub failure, I think the guy who brought the most HP (and a well setup car) would've won. Chris beat Elliott at Putnam as well with E on new Hoosiers and Chris on older ones. I don't have a dog in the fight, just reporting the facts. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) PS- That's a helluva LSX motor. I watched Roco's reality show and I was a bit stunned in the start of that first race when Griswold pulls on him. Didn't know that Griswold was armed with turbos but suspected something after that. But that's just insanity. Later Roco breaks his diff. I doubt 700 or 1000 HP is going to make much difference in lap times for me. NA 720 is less weight and less stuff to break. And brakes less stuff. I have no dog in this fight either. |

Will be switching to a Tranzilla T56 from RS gear this summer sometime.
Currently is a built T56, but we're pushing it's limits. It will be going thru a Mcleod race clutch, 7" setup using their nuclear bomb protecting bellhousing... lol ACPT carbon fiber drive shaft into a Strange 12 Bolt. Helping getting it down is a Unbalanced Engineeringg Torque arm (if you haven't got one yet, get one...) I'm able to get off corners hard enough to make people ask if I have a independent rear end... |
