Yeah its modeled after one of the earlier Corvette Stingrays.I personally don't care for it,but I think w/ the right color paint it MIGHT look alright (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I have seen it on a 98+ car black didnt look to bad (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

GM's one-off 4th gen ZL1 Camaro had that hood (1998-up nose). Underneath the hood was a 572 CID engine. Saw the car in a couple of magazines, then saw it at DEI a couple of years back. The car was black, and the stinger was painted dark silver/charcoal and looked really good, at least to me.
VFN makes the hood as well; dunno about their hood quality though. http://www.vfnfiberglass.com/site.htm |

I have never heard anything bad about VFN hoods.. infact all I have ever heard was good news about the hoods and service.

I had a friend in idaho that had one of those old stingray hoods on his 96 Z. Beleive it or not it actually looked pretty damn good on a black car.

Black does pull it off.
So humor me Nestromo and forget the ugliest for a post... Brueck inspired me (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I have been in love with the infamous "#6" since I saw it in CHP. The baddest I have seen till I saw the Berger/Dick Harrell Edition in CHP last months issue. The 2 are worthy of of the best American CHEVY Muscle you can get your hands on...IMO check these out http://chevyhiperformance.com/featuredvehi...s/148_0310_sun/ or the http://dickharrell.com/ Yeah Steve I would die if I got these fenders on my 99,sweeeet Tony |

Yeah, I love the ZR1. I also love those FM5s that it's sitting on. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
BUT.... the hood on that red car is hideous. I guess part of it is knowing that it's covering a stock motor. And if you are gonna bling out your car then for gods sake... wheels THEN hood. Please. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I guess part of it is a car that I went to school with... white Z28 'vert A4, stock wheels, massive spoiler, that hood, RS ground effects, had been in a few fender benders, paint coming off everywhere.... everything that I hate in a car. I just like cars that are externaly stock and haul ass, not cars that are internally stock with every part in the APC catalog. |

Would be awesome if GM or someone else made that into a kit - hood, fenders, rear spoiler, etc.
