When I bought my car (see sig) in November of 2003, headers were already on the car. The previous owner told me that these were Arizona Speed and Marine header, but didn't have the receipt. The reality is that he had zero receipts for things that he bought, but the owner prior to him had receipts for everything and he gave these to me. Given that he bought the car in APril of 2003 and he added the headers, at least I know they are less than 2 years old.

Anyway, to make my move from AI to CMC, I had to remove the headers from the car. I plan to sell these headers and do not want to mis-represent them. I have no reason to doubt anything that the previous owner has told me to date, but I still want to be sure of what I am selling before determining a fair price.

There are no identifying markings on any of the pieces other than a stamp "IMCO 250 ALUM 12301" on both downpipes and the little y-pipe (partial stamp since it is so small). Beyond that and what the previous owner told me, I have no idea of what these headers are.

Anyone recognize these headers?

I plan on taking more pictures. The battery died on the camera and it needs charged.

Thanks.

They sure look like AS&Ms to me. I guess it's also possible that they're the RK Sport LT1 header, as they're copies of the AS&M design.

Better photos are available for the RK Sports than the AS&Ms on the Internet. The RK Sport is the same design as I have right now, looking at the pictures at RK Sport website:

Therefore, with this information I think it is safe to conclude that these are Arizona Speed and Marine, as the seller told me.

Thanks.

Wow. The price difference between the AS&M and the RK Sports is significant. They appear to be similar in design, construction and materials. The only difference is that the AS&M's state that they are ceramic coated inside and out where the RK Sports only state that they are ceramic coated...

The AS&M's sell for $750:

The RK Sports list for $599, currently on sale for $450:

Does anyone know why there is such a significant price difference?
