It looks very, VERY promising. Any coments? If the production model looks this good, and they keep the price around 20k like they've claimed I may have just found my next car biggrin.gif

Looks like competition for a z4. The air intake looks almost like an afterthought, but the rest of the car looks good. I was also under the impression that it was going to be blown, but that was the story back when it still was in early showcar stage. Not sure what the new specs are going to be on that motor.

Whoops, forgot the spec sheet:

The motor is a 2.4L Ecotec with 170hp/170tq, but seeing as we're at least a year away from it being released that could change. Or this could just be the base engine and the supercharged one will be an option. 170hp isn't bad though...

i like it.. the front end is kinda ugly though

supposed to have under 20k nonblown version, plus a higher end blown version.

also, probably not gonna have a coupe, the saturn curve will be the Coupe, unless demand warrants the solstice. and they most likely wont build the bel air nomad or whatever it was in those pics.

I like the looks of it, and it sounds reasonably priced.

What are the two protrusions in this image?

They could have made the front of the car look a bit more exciting than the prototype.

I believe them to be the bolt/mounts of the diff to the crossmember in the pic. With two halfshafts going in either direction.

You are correct. I did not see the welds, and I do now. Thanks.

Think I can stuff an LS1 into it?

I agree, the front end isn't the greatest...

I expected it to be a little bit lighter.
